self pity or grief
Hi, I'm new here. I am overwhelmed with all of the information on this site. I also think I have Adhd, so this is a lot to take in. I have many questions, but this one to start with. I am in a 12 step codependency group and alanon and another Bible Study group about the healing journey. So, I find all of this facinating and on track with what I am learning. I am however stuck trying to figure out if I am grieving my past, and present circumstances, or if I am feeling sorry for myself and therefore staying stuck. I have been attempting recovery for years and years, but tend to get confused. I have had counseling too, Sometimes, I feel like there is no hope for me. Any thoughts on this???
