I have read your comments and so understand what you are talking about I too was taught that your must always put others first and your self second. What a load of rubbish shall we say. I was given this little gem by my adoptive mother "you must always put yourself down you must never praise your self".

I lived with this for years until I started to heal my self. There is a book you may find handy if that is ok -- My Journey Within which looks at how you can change your life patterns and programmings.
